Information for HR Professionals
- Helps returning veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) succeed in the workplace. Resources available on the web site include answers to Common Employer Questions, Presentations & Training Tools, Fact Sheets and other Helpful Links.

EEOC Guidance on Employment of Veterans with Service-Connected Disabilities
- Explains to employers about protections for veterans with service-connected disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
Job Accommodation Network (JAN)
- Facilitates the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing information on job accommodations, self-employment and related subjects. Shares ideas and information regarding accommodating service members and veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) Information
- Provides information from the Department of Labor’s Veterans Employment & Training Service including an introduction to the rules and regulations, fact sheets and access to the USERRA elaws Advisor, an interactive-tool that answers questions about the rights and responsibilities for the employee and employer.
- Serves as a resource for veterans seeking employment and assists employers with job openings to hire veterans. Includes information for hiring managers on Federal Special Hiring Authorities for Veterans.
