Who should use EARN?
EARN serves three main types of clients:
-
Employers – We provide employers with free consulting on disability employment issues, as well as connect them to jobseekers directly and through a nationwide network of over 6,500 service providers who have access to qualified jobseekers.
-
Providers – We work with service providers to identify job openings for their jobseekers and supply additional consulting concerning disability employment.
-
Jobseekers – We provide jobseekers with tools and resources, including the EARNWorks job board, Job Source. Through Job Source, jobseekers can search jobs, build resumes and apply for job openings.
We also serve as a free resource on disability employment for any interested party.
Am I an employer or a service provider? Or both?
An employer is any organization (company, business, etc.) that is looking to hire qualified jobseekers. Employers post jobs through the EARNWorks job board, Job Source. We then reach out to our vast network of service providers and jobseekers to find qualified individuals to fill their positions. EARN also provides employers with free disability employment consulting services.
A disability employment service provider, or service provider, is any organization that works with jobseekers with disabilities to help them in developing their skills and/or finding employment. Service providers search for jobs posted on Job Source by our vast network of employers. We then assist them in placing their jobseekers with employers.
An organization can be both an employer and a service provider if they both recruit jobseekers with disabilities and assist them in finding employment.
