IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT EARN SERVICES

As previously announced, EARN’s job board and matching service ended in February 2009. The EARNWORKS website and technical assistance service is now part of the National Technical Assistance, Policy and Research Center at Cornell University. The purpose of this Center is to identify and promote effective recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies for people with disabilities through high quality up-to-date online information and technical assistance. Services available include:
For employers:

  • Referral to disability-specific job boards
  • Resources on recruitment, hiring, accommodating, and supervising employees with disabilities
  • Training on selected disability and employment related topics.
For job seekers and veterans with disabilities:
  • Listings of local public and private employment service providers and Social Security Benefits Counselors
  • Contact information for Disability Program Navigators (DPNs) and Disabled Veterans Outreach Persons (DVOPs).
For service providers:
  • Tools and resources to facilitate employment opportunities for your customers.
